Frosty…
Mar 24
Good Morning! It isn’t actually frosty here! Quite the opposite, the sun is out and everyone is happy. Today we are having the whole of our office re-frosted.
I shall explain to you first, that all four rooms within our new office are divided by glass. You know, like the fancy American offices you see in movies. When you own a business, I assume you want to put your own mark on the place, just like the former owners had done here previously. When our guys came to eradicate these marks, they made all sorts of different marks… but not in a good way.
Each divider is covered in acrylic frosting with the old travel agents logo imprinted on top. We decided that the frosting would be perfectly fine, minus the old logos. The first attempt at removing them wasn’t so successful. It was ‘scratched’ off; leaving what can only be described as a bit of a mess! The other attempt was successful in that it did remove the logo but unsuccessful in that Shaun burnt his fingers! The hairdryer idea initially seemed to be a genius plan but swiftly became a sore one. The hairdryer adequately melted the logos adhesive enough for us to peel them off but sticky patches were left behind, which soon collected dust. I think we failed at this one.
So, today we are having brand-spanking new frosting fitted throughout our office and we shall finally put our own stamp on the place. Hello Global Guarding!
